As a new application, your computer might flag it as "Unknown Publisher." To install safely:

  1. 1. Click "More info" under the warning popup.
  2. 2. A new button will appear at the bottom. Click "Run anyway".

Apple Gatekeeper

Because we haven't acquired an Apple developer certificate yet, macOS will say the app cannot be opened. To install safely:

  1. 1. Drag the SmartClaw app into your Applications folder.
  2. 2. Do NOT double click it. Instead, Right-Click (or Control-Click) the app icon and select "Open".
  3. 3. Click the "Open Anyway" button on the popup.

Linux (x64)

Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian, Fedora.

Installation

The AppImage is a portable binary that runs on most distros. Make it executable first:

  1. 1. Open a terminal in your Downloads folder.
  2. 2. Run chmod +x SmartClaw*.AppImage
  3. 3. Launch with ./SmartClaw*.AppImage

Alternatively, install the .deb package with sudo dpkg -i SmartClaw*.deb
